Hey guys,
Sorry I haven't written in here for absolutely ages. There's been a lot of shit that's happened recently. I can't explain most of it because it's mostly pretty personal. But moving right along...
Work has been flat out! The phones were running hot all day Mon-Wed (like from 7:30 to until we turned them OFF at 3). I got my first pay for the fortnight: $680! Looking pretty healthy. Except Alex paid me $104 extra by accident (tax) which is a big *thumbs down*. But I've managed to save about $200 so far (well... $178 in the bank plus about $15 cash). Me and Jus have started shopping for bits and pieces. We went to Thingz at Carousel and got a cool stainless street fruit bowl and an ornamental glass plate. And then we got a salt/pepper set, tea/sugar pots and an ornamental mirror hanging beady string thing lol from a $2 shop in Freo!! Bargain hey! The salt and pepper things are clear with silver trim and the tea/sugar pots are glass with silver trim (we're going for the whole neutral glass/stainless steel look). 'Very modern, very modern.' (Mansfield Park).
Jus snatched up a couple of bargains last night from Live: a pair of red/grey Royals down frm $155 to $25!!! And a pair of slightly-too-big pants down from $100 to $5 :D. We're heading out to Carousel tonight, probably to do some more shopping (Jus got paid you see), but I'm looking fwd to getting out tonight.
Anyway guys, that's about it from me right now. I'll write again when I can. OMG! Speaking of writing, I bought this new diary from Inspirations in Carousel, LEATHER bound with gold trim (totally classic looking) for $10!!! I started writing in it last night, I just couldn't resist!!
Oh! and speaking of 'omigod's!', this morning I saw Paul in the foyer of East Point, the building where I work. (Remember him Christie?!!) He's just a guy I used to know, and an asshole to boot. It was really freaky though, my hands were shaking as I got into the lift =/ Spun me out...
Anyway, phones are starting to pick up a little again, so I'm outty! :D
