A crush and a half
So. I think I am finally giving in to a very serious crush. *grin*.
Before I go any further, I’d like to point out that I know how morally wrong this is. He’s Andrew’s best mate. The whole goddamn world just about knows how much Andrew wants to be with me, but like I’ve told him before, that simply is never going to happen. So I hardly expect anything to happen between Josh and I, only because I know Josh is a good mate. He wouldn’t do that to Andrew.
So. Lol. Last night was fucking wicked hehe. The guys, Andrew and Josh, picked up me after I got back from my walk at about 9pm. Well they came in for about half an hour while I showered and then we sat around for a little bit (it was SO hot last night so I was well buggered). Eventually we left and we headed back to Carlisle to pick up Macca and two other guys (???) and cruise into Northbridge. Then there was the issue with seating arrangements. Macca is a fairly big bloke, like the size of two people almost. So there was Josh, Andrew, me and Macca plus two other guys. And seeing as Macca was like… two people, we were really trying to fit 7 people into Andrew’s Commodore. It wasn’t pretty lol. I made it blatantly clear to Andrew that I was not being squashed into the back with some coke head that I didn’t know (we were waiting in the yard for quite some time while they cut and snorted their lines *shakes head*). So it started off with me in the front. Then it became even more blatantly obvious that there was no way Macca, Josh and the two others could fit in the back. So I agree to sit in Josh’s lap and we both shared the front seat. I was evil glaring Andrew the whole time, he seemed to be enjoying the whole ordeal immensely, but eventually I squeezed nice and comfortably between Josh’s legs and we took off.
When we got to Northbridge we parked the car on the side of the road and walked around to some club/bar thing (God I can’t even remember the name of it). It wasn’t too busy last night, lots of overdressed women though lol, so Macca and the guys headed in and then came back out with some drinks and we sat outside just chatting for a while (damn my 17-ness!). Eventually Josh, Andrew and I took off. I think we went… yes we went to Scarborough beach after that. We scoped out the Lookout, which actually looked surprisingly quiet, and then he headed down the beach. Now I was wearing fuck all last night, my denim skirt and a half backless halter neck top, and mate was it windy at the beach!!! Andrew took his shoes off, rolled his pants up and went to see how cold the water was – evidently it was pretty cold! I stopped about 4 metres before the tides cause I could feel the spray from there! The waves were huge, whipped up from the extreme winds no doubt hehe. We dared Drewz to go for a swim and he almost did but not quite. Him and Josh had a bit of a wrestle (why is it guys always have to wrestle when they’re at the beach!) but then we left after a bit only cause it was too goddamn windy!
From there we headed… through Osborne Park I think and up to Subiaco, and I think the next place we stopped at was Herdsman Lake. We drove past my old unit and I showed Josh (only to later remember he had actually been there a couple of times lol). We pulled up at Herdsman Lake and it was SO nice and still. The air was still a little humid (and it was about 11:30 by now) but it was so clear and still. We walked for a little bit around the lake and Josh was talking about how he used to do Horticulture and Landscaping at TAFE. I was like, why’d you stop!!! So we talked about TAFE courses and stuff for a little while. By this stage Andrew had gone a bit weird… humming to himself like he always does when something’s on his mind. It was either he’d slipped back into the “every time I look at you I think of what I could be missing out on” thing or he was… maybe annoyed? No, well, he was weird about me and Josh talking so much. Possibly jealous? After a while we gave up that trip as well because there was just swarms of midgies hanging over the path every few metres and we’d walk straight into them. So here I was screaming my head off and shaking my head every time we walked into them, much to the guy’s amusement. I walked behind Josh for the whole way back lol.
After that we went up to Kings Park and drove around for a while. On the way lol, I think it was on the way, we stopped and got some drinks and a Mars bar from a Deli (I’d been talking about Mars bars all night and was hella craving one!). I grabbed the guys some Solo’s and got my King size Mars bar (hehe) and ended up giving half (and the larger half!) to Josh cause I knew he had a major weakness for chocolate, especially Mars bars!!! It took a while, but he finally agreed to share it with me and then after he said with this massive grin on his face “That was delightful Mel, thankyou”. I cracked up laughing, he was like in complete euphoria from eating this half a chocolate bar, like a little kid who just got an ice cream but kinda spaced out. It was so funny hehe. So at Kings Park, the lights weren’t on last night, don’t know why! It was a little after midnight and there was still a fair few people up there, but we expected the tree lights to be on and were a little disappointed when they weren’t. Then we went to the DNA tower!!! It was so cool; I haven’t been up there for ages. We parked, made it up the top and stayed there for ages talking and watching the lightening over Fremantle. It was well wicked. Then there was some stupid bitch and a couple of guys who were racing up the tower and the girl was shrieking her head off and we were like “eeew” so we split and then headed home.
Got home at about 1, 1:30 I think. I asked the guys in but we were all pretty tired so I was kinda glad when they said no. I gave em both a kiss on the head (I think I nearly head butted Josh! And that’s after whacking Drewz in the face and giving him a blood nose earlier that night!!!) and jumped outta the car and said goodnight then they drove off. All in all it was a pretty awesome night. I was laughing and smiling the whole time and thought “Justin, if only you could see me now.”
So. Josh. Lol. I can’t even say or fucking write his name without grinning. I am SO silly Jesus. Like I said, he used to study Horticulture and Landscaping at TAFE and this year he’s doing Panel Beating and Spray Painting – he wants to be a mechanic or do something with cars. True car blokes these two, it’s pretty awesome. It’s virtually all we ever talk about these days lol. He’s same age as Drewz, 18, and his birthday is July 16. He has a 7-year-old sister who is fully into horses and horse riding (I told him about Zoe and Amy too) and his parents are divorced (Mum lives down the road from Drewz in East Vic Park and Dad lives in Floreat). His mum is very strange. I think she has issues lol. They talked on Andrew’s mobile last night for I swear it must have been about 20 minutes, about how he wasn’t coming home for dinner. You had to be there, but I wasn’t even on the phone and I was ripping my hair out in frustration. I felt very sorry for Josh after hehe. Physically, he’s about 6’, maybe a little over. Short brown hair, nice tan, excellent hands (a guy has to have good hands otherwise there’s no hope) cause he’s a mechanic/car person, broad shoulders (which I got to half lay against when I was sitting in his lap!) and yeah. He’s pretty good looking. He wears steel capped boots lol, they’re the only shoes I ever seen him wear, and he loves his collared button up shirts, most of em Ford or other car ones. He also wears lots of jewellery which I think is cool, he has a silver watch and bracelet on his left wrist and a silver necklace as well (they both look like Inner Soul typa thing). The silver looks good on him cause he’s got a good tan. He also wants to smash up Justin (like a few other of my guy friends) *shrug* don’t look at me!!! And believe me, he would be more than very capable. I wouldn’t want to be on the wrong side of Josh…. Especially with all his mates lol. I’ve given up trying to talk all my guy friends out of it; they’re so fucking stupid. I don’t want Jus to get beaten up though!!!
Personality wise? Josh is… different. Which is funny because that’s the exact same way I described Justin at first. He is… very good mates with Drewz for a start. They went right through high school together and they’re virtually brothers. He doesn’t have that arrogance Drewz seems to have, he doesn’t brag about girls, talk about sex all the time, etc etc. But, he is a complete beer lover (he talked for ages about his favourite beers last night lol) and he and Drewz are always talking about tits for some reason (*rolls eyes*). Apart from that, he’s kinda like a gentleman. He’s very polite and kinda shy and reserved, but he makes me laugh something chronic, but without even trying. It’s not like he’s trying to be funny which makes it even better. In a sentence? He intrigues me. I think he’s a lot more intelligent than he lets on. Even if nothing happens between us (which I can almost guarantee it won’t) I’d really like to be a good friend with him like I am with Drewz. Andrew told me once that Josh has more issues than he does, which is saying something fairly significant. *shrug*. He intrigues me that’s all.
And then last night I had a dream about us, which was fairly… wishful thinking so to speak. And don’t look at me; I have no control over my dreams!!! I thought it was pretty funny that’s all hehe. I wonder what Andrew will say….
