A Valentines Day suprise (or two...)
Well today turned out to be a better day than I ever could have expected.
I was most pleasantly suprised by an enourmous bouquet of long stemmed roses at 8:30am this morning, accompanied by a rather pleased looking William on my doorstep. He ordered the flowers on Monday, picked them up early that morning and drove over to give them to me, with a card saying "I just wanted to let you know you mean a lot to me, William." You should have seen me smile!
He stayed for a while, then we had to be on our way - beach today! We stopped at Josh's on the way and much to my delight Josh presented me with a hug and a gorgeous V-day card saying "Happy Valetines Day Mel! Let today bring happiness your way forever more, xox Josh". I was grinning from ear to ear :)
We headed down to Scarborough beach, boy was it hot! We were sweltering by the time we got there and readily jumped into the surf (well Josh and I anyway). The water was beeeaaautiful, the surf was up and the sun was blistering. All in all, quite a good avo for the beach. We met some friends there and then headed off to Happy Buddha for a quick (and free!) lunch, went and chilled at Will's for a bit and then came back to hang out at my place and do shit all lol.
At about 6 I got ready for dinner, we cruised back to E. Vic Park so the boys could get showered and dressed (mate they cleaned up nicely! I love Josh's Kangol shoes!!) and then we headed back to Happy Buddha for a full out Chinese dinner (Will's treat). We shared three meals of lemon chicken, crispy boneless chicken and king garlic prawns, plus steamed rice and mmm mmmmm! It was not only completely and totally delish but also very filling! We stayed there for like 2 hours, until we got asked to leave because they needed our table! So we cruised back to my place after stopping briefly at Will's, chilled out for a little while and had a coffee and the boys left about half an hour ago now.
All in all, a pretty fantastic day. I can't help but look back and smile :D
