Plugs, parties and the ex-files
Hey guys,
Well what a fucking wikid weekend hey hehe. But before I launch into that I'd just like to plug a couple of people.
:: Aloka - she is most coolest and wikidest girl ever. Reading her diary is like reading a movie script, she's just awesome :)
:: Lissy, - her grandmother just recently passed away from cancer, our thoughts and prayers are with you Lis.
:: Molly - a Dland reviewer and possibly the funniest girl I know, she cracks up me hell bad :P
:: Justin - a funny fucker hehe, takes loads of photos as well and does some karayzee things!
:: Style Designs - of course I have to plug to my site hehe. This is a my first design site, I'm just messing around with images and very basic templates. I'm going to try and get Gold Membership on my next pay though so I can get some banners running as well :P
But anyway, back to the weekend. Well all day Friday (while I was at work), I spent the better part of the day reading every single one of Aloka's entries. This girl is cool and then some! Then Friday night I think Jus came round a bit later and stayed over and then we got up early at 7am (I know!), cooking breakfast, did some washing and tried to organise that days events. We decided eventually against going to Araluen, mainly because Jus didn't have enough petrol =. I was very upset because I'd been looking forward to it all week and it was such a *beautiful* day on Saturday... it would have been nice to smell pretty flowers all day. We ended up leaving home at about 10ish and we headed straight for Just Music in Cott where I picked up my guitar. It isn't shown on the Samick webpage but I'll get a few snapshots and stick 'em up here. I was very excited and also very depressed at the same time when I picked it up. Although it was a sale package, it still cost me $400 (which is good considering the guitar by itself would have been around $600) and I had a minga phone bill to pay as well. So I have next to nothing atm to last me for like a fortnight. But hey, at least I have a guitar.
Saturday evening we had Kira's party. I dropped by Gone Bizarre and picked up some really pretty lei's and a flower for my hair, so I went as a Hawaiian. Justin dressed up in his ball suit with a clubbing shirt - he looked like a hell pimp, it was shocking! We left Kira's at about 8pm (she looked *so* gorgeous btw, in her medieval princess dress) and rocked up at Will's party. I was really nervous about it because the last few party's me and Jus have been to didn't go so well... ie. Claire's, Matt's etc. And I was expecting Elle to go as well, so I was ready to hurt someone. But we got there and it was actually really good. All the guys were there, Annie and Mel and Eva, I even met Corey! And it was generally just a really good night. We both drank a fair bit but everyone there was tanked hehe so it was all good. We came to crash around 2am but then discovered we weren't allowed to sleep in the dining room/lounge room like we did before. So we were pretty pissed off about that and we ended up driving back to my house (Jus was sober don't worry). We got into bed at about 3am, and by this stage I had sobered up a fair bit and was starting to feel reeeaaally seedy. But I during the time that I did actually sleep I was really really comfy hehe. Jus was tossing and turning all night and I was fully expecting him to roll over and just yak everywhere, but it was all good. We had to get up pretty early on Sunday coz it was Vic's bday (his Dad) so we left at about 8:30 and said hello to the family and gave Vic his presents which he liked (I think). We got to his nonna's at about 11:30ish, and most of the family was there - 17 in total I think. We had a killer meal of fresh made ravioli (*drools*) and then salad, cutlets and chicken and chips after. Then of course there was bday cake (caramel mud cake from the Cheesecake shop I think) and Silv's peppermint crisp brownies. All in all, quite a good feast.
We got home, cleaned up the post party mess and then collapsed on the bed, exhausted. Jus ended up coming round for a while in the avo and we had a bit of a jam, we got pizza for dinner and then zonked it at about 8pm. Jus set his alarm for 8:30, I woke up and woke him up and after muttering "5 more minutes, 5 more minutes Mel," I went back to sleep. He woke up at 1am and chucked a freak because he hadn't done any homework or anything and I was like geez whatever, you wanted to sleep for longer! So I won't be letting him sleep there this week, he always yells at me when he gets up at like 1 or 2 in the morning, its not my fault!
Jus also got another possible job, well two actually. Henry wants him to link to Aqwa from the Cicerellos page and maybe do something else with that *shrug* I'm not really too sure. And this guy he met at Will's, Jarrad, wants him to do a site for his band so Justin was pleased again :)
Elle didn't go to Will's party which I was very upset about. But at least I didn't go out and buy a whole new outfit just to show her up. Ra was talking about Kelly on Sunday as well and I was like wtf. He thought she would have gone and I was like does Will even know her? And he started going on about how all the guys met her at one of Justin's parties when they were going out and I was like when? But he couldn't remember, and so I was asking Justin about it that night but he just wasn't answering me. I was quite irked because he was just ingoring me, and just.. well.. because it's Kelly. Grrr. I might take Elle's pages down today... I'm so over her, she's just boring and stupid. Of course I would have liked to show her up but I wasn't going to actually cause trouble. Kelly on the other hand... I shouldn't really start on that department because it'll set off firecrackers like crazy. Me and Corey were talking about all Justin's ex's as well I think. I can't remember if it was him or not, but I'm fairly sure it was him because he went to the Hami Ball as well, but I had a good bitch. Me and Jus saw fucking Melissa Vener at Garden City a few days before as well and I was like sluuut! So it's been a bit of an ex fest lately.
Ouchies! Speaking of ex's, Joe was at Will's on Saturday with Curlz and Ross. I was like WTF. I forgot that Ross goes to soccer with Mikes. Joe had a new skanky girlfriend, she was fat as well, and I was like... ew. But he's still a good old cabinet maker, him and Leon hate each other now apparently and that was about all we talked about. Justin was a little miffed, naturally, but was otherwise cool about it. I'm just glad he didn't go out and try to start a fight.
Anyway, I might finish here and come back and write again later. *shrug*.
