I can’t get enough of you, baby
Lol. I cannot wipe this stupid grin from my face. It’s an effort to keep from laughing. Last night I had the best night again, and I got to spend almost all of it with Josh. I love my boys so so much lol.
So, I ended up going through Carousel and Perth yesterday. Still no word from Steffen so pfft, given up there. I went to see Cam but just missed him cause he went home, but I DID get my awesome, kick ass Rusty pants and a new top from Roads. OH! And I saw Justin twice in Perth yesterday, Jesus, what are the chances of that? It was fairly uncomfortable to say the least, we completely ignored each other and pretended that we hadn’t seen each other. I had to pull out a cigarette both times to calm the shaking in my hands.
I messaged Drewz in the afternoon and said that I was coming over and that we’d go out to eat. I knew that he wouldn’t invite Josh because he’d just think that I wanted to go and see him so I could see Josh.
However! (lol).
We were on our way down Carnarvon St when I saw this guy walking down. And I knew that it was Josh, he’s always bloody walking up and down the street lol. So we stopped and he jumped in and Andrew asked him if he wanted to come to dinner. I was vaguely surprised by this. So we ended up going to Josh’s house and oh my god. Lol. His Mum is THE coolest woman I’ve ever come across and their house is so awesome. Hehe. She was cooking dinner when we arrived (and remember how much of a fuss she’d had the night before about Josh eating dinner at home?!) so I was like, damn Josh isn’t going to be able to come. But she was actually cool about it, said it was alright and gave him some money. I introduced myself and shook her hand and we ended up talking. She’s an artist, a way cool artist in a very arty house, and we talked shop for quite a while, much to the guys dismay, and it ended up with me promising to drag Drewz and Josh to some arts thing at WAAPA next week lol. She was really nice :).
So eventually we headed out to Vic Park and we ended up eating at a nice Italian place called Christina’s. My outfit was major cool lol, I had my white massive flare pants, my new major v-neck top from Roads, my blue Spanish earrings and my blue sunnies. I was cooool lol. And here’s Drewz wearing a bloody crinkled shirt and crinkled pants and Josh was wearing his boots and a grey jumper lol. I had to laugh.
The meal ended up being totally delish. I had this spicy chicken salad dish (I couldn’t even pronounce the name!), Drewz had spag bol and Josh settled for bruschetta (and I made a note of the Funghi Pollo thing that was on the menu that Jus had eaten when he took Casey to Tiamo. Grr. Lol). The restaurant was excellent, there was this girl waitressing there that I went to highschool with, Naomi. It was fully packed out, but it was a good atmosphere and we talked for a while before our meals arrived. As you can imagine the dishes were like the biggest goddamn dishes you’ve ever seen and I ate til I was completely full and it looked like I hadn’t even touched it in the end! Dinner was really good though. It was different, esp. for Josh who’d never been to a restaurant without his Mum lol, but we were all enjoying it. My cheeks were getting sore from smiling and laughing and… yeah… the chemistry was good lol.
After that rather expensive dinner, I ran into Baskin and Robbins (like a little kid in an icecream store haha) and got a delish coffee and almond icecream, then we headed down to LA Que (Cue?) and had a few games. I sucked majorly! Almost as much as Drewz towards to end! Josh kicked his ass but I think a lot of it was fluking :P. By this stage Drewz was starting to go quiet. He's made it clear how jealous he is of Josh although at this stage its not affecting their friendship (which I'm very thankful of). And we (Josh and I) had been talking and laughing and everything all night, like going out of our way to, so I can understand why Drewz was annoyed. I felt bad. But not enough to stop me from having a good time :)
At about 11 we headed back home and went to Josh’s for a while. Like I said, his house is ultra ultra cool cause his Mum’s an artist so there’s wicked stuff just… everywhere. We watched TV and had arm wrestles, thumb wars, made paper cranes and planes, played hangman lol. Josh’s room was pretty wicked as well. High ceiling, wooden floors, generally massive. I played his guitar for a while too and OMG I have completely fallen in love with his dog, Zephyr!! She’s a golden lab I think and omg she is sooo beautiful lol. Anyway at about 12, 12:30 I said we should cruise. The boys had started to look really tired (and while I wasn’t at all) I figured we should go so they could get some shut eye. Drewz took me home and that was it.
All in all it was an awesome night. I messaged Josh when I got home to tell him thanks for coming and that I had a good time. He doesn’t have any credit and neither does Drewz, otherwise I would have been bombarded with msgs from Andrew about how miserable or jealous he was. Hmm. I was gonna call Josh today and go round… he’s got a day off TAFE… But I’m nervous lol. I dunno :P. I said to him when we left, “Your mum is SO cool. I’m going to have to sit down and have coffee with her one day.” And he said, “I think she’d like that”. *smile*.
Look at me. Lovesick puppy who can’t stop grinning. It was a good night though. And there was smiles and laughter all around. So… yeah… what else can a girl want?
Well… maybe one or two other things that Josh could help out with…
!!!
